I don’t know if the server can be helpful for me. Can I just take a look and try?

Sure! Feel welcome to check it out and leave again if its not the right place for you. You can always return later if you want.

I need support with sorting through stuff. Is there space for that here?

Yes! If you need to write your thoughts down and ask support for figuring things out, there is definitely space for that. We want to create a space where we can all support each other and offer mutual aid. Asking for help is scary. But the more people do it, the easier it gets.

How can I help? Is there something I can do?

Yes, thank you! Definitely once the server gets busy there might be a lot of ways to support the project (e.g. translations). For the mean time, please share this website to people who you think might be interested. And if you want you are always welcome to offer support on the server.

How did Doing the Thing come to exist?

Doing the Thing was created out of lived experience and out of the need for a more empowered approach to the complexity of life… especially when having to manage chronic states of exhaustion, burnout and overwhelm.

This platform is a small experiment in building a kinder structure through collective agency— moving at the speed of “crip time” and with what our bodies wants to say.

How can I join?
